The Cam belt snapped today on sons car, he was doing 40ish. Its an 'M' regd



1.7 Astra Diesel. Whats the chance of valve damage? If it's an uneconomical repair then its down the scrap yard. Regards, Beefheart.

It's a diesel, their high compression ratios almost guarantee it's shafted :(
