Can exhaust/manifold hole cause 'wobble'?

have had everything else checked out but my scenic still wobbles between 60-65 and then stops at faster speeds.

Can a hole in the exhaust / manifold (which it has got) cause this? L

When you say it wobbles, is it the whole car that wobbles or just the steering wheel?

I had two scenics and they both tended to wobble at 55 - 60. Maybe its just the way they are built?

Normally a wobble on the steering wheel is down to the wheels / tyres. Not sure how a leaky exhaust could cause this. Have you hit any big pot hols or kerbs recently? Maybe worth getting a tyre fit place to check your tyres, may just need balancing.

You need to be far more specific about what you mean by 'wobbling' for anyone here to be able to offer advice. For the record, a leaky exhaust isn't going to cause that.

It could be an exhaust leak sucking in air pre-O2 sensor, giving a fake-lean condition. This may then be causing the ECU to richen the mixture to the point of misfire, causing shake through the car. Its unlikely though, and more likely to be a wheel balance issue or a blown shocker.

Why don't you just get it fixed and report back, prick?

Is this "TriJan" person actually "dot"? Prick seems to be its favourite word.
