Clio SERV Light

Oct 19, 2003 1 Replies

I have a 2002 Renault Clio 1.2 16v Dynamique and just lately the SERV light has been coming on after about 10 - 15 mins of driving, according to the owners manual it says you must take it to a renault garage as soon as possible. I just wondered what the SERV light ment, does it simply mean that the car is due a service or does it mean that there is a fault, sometimes also with the SERV light the airbag light comes on. I will take the car to my local renault garage tomorrow (Monday) but in the meantime what is the car indicating? a problem with the airbag?

Thanks In Advance Richard

At that age it normally means that it's got conflicting results from two og the engine sensors. Airbag lights a seperate light.
