oil change deals?

National tyres. Get the voucher off their website and print it out. They can't do it without a voucher, has to be sent off to head office or sommat.

Cant see any voucher . It quotes an oil + filter change at either £10 or £15 depending on whether you get Duckhams Hypergrade or Semisynthetic QXR oil And you get airmiles or Tesco clubcard points Stuart

I also want a cheap deal on an oil and filter change. However I dont have a local National tyres.! is there any more cheap places to go? Also i have a 1.2 16v 02 clio which has a plastic oil filter totally different from the traditional tin type canister filters, now this filter from the renault parts department is a tenner. is this going to be a problem when I take it for an oil change at a garage such as kwik Fit?

I can't buy the oil and filters for my car for the price they ask. If I were doing something that takes more than a gallon of oil in the sump, I'd be looking at £30 for two cans of oil alone. I know they're buying bulk, but there's got to be some profit in it.

AFAIK some Mondeo and Focus engines MUST have 5w30 if they're not to have valve trouble. Your best bet would be to go and make sure they've got the right grade, and don't just stick 10W40 in everything...

Thats what I was intending doing ( phoning them I mean ) as the website doesnt say what specs the oil is . I know Duckhams do make a 5w30 semi-synthetic oil . Stuart

Sure enough, they needed 24 hours to get one.
