Looks like buying the Eunos wasn't that clever a move overall. No, I haven't broken it but twit here didn't realise just how noisy a convertible is - and I'm rather sensitive to noise, so outside town I have to wear earplugs while driving. Doh.
Anyway, plan is to do something about Subaru's reputation for reliability (ahem), but I'd need a specialist to look after one, especially because the current shortlist looks something like this:
- Subaru SVX
- Legacy Turbo (aka 'Lunacy', the UK model turbo) Estate
- Legacy GT Estate, grey import twin-turbo. If I can find someone to insure it, most companies seem to be rather reluctant to touch them. Funny that, given that they're essentially the WRX for the 'older gentleman'.
The last one in the list won't be touched by a normal Subaru dealer 'cos it's a grey import, and most dealers have seen an SVX on a photograph so suggestions where to go to get them looked after would be appreciated.
Oh, and does anyone want a cheapish Eunos Roadster, UK-registered, taxed & MOT'd?
