That's what he said. You can't sink much lower than a Ford built by Scousers.

Ah, been there. Bought a garden shed at the last house and dumped the freezer and TD in there. Worked okay after some initial reluctance by SWMBO.

...and freezes to ice again just as you're driving away.

I've had 20 year old heated front screens that have worked perfectly.

Bentley use the same system for their heated rear windows as well as the front, so it must be s**te.

I start the engine, turn the heater on, and wait for about a minute. Even in my shiteoldBMW that's enough to defrost the screen.

I'm pretty convinced that Bentley will engineer their version to a significantly better standard.

I've only had a few hire cars with heated screens, so currently have had a 33% failure rate on them.

It takes longer than the alcohol though.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "Mark W" saying something like:

Not if you use a bucketful of lukewarm - plenty of it, splashed on with a plastic jug, let it sit for a few seconds then wipe and it raises the temp enough to avoid that. I don't get much in the way of sub-zero temps here, but this method works fine to -5degC.

I use an old credit card. Works a treat.
