Just thought to give an update with my partners car and say thanks for the help I recieved from this group.
After THREE professional mechcanics examininied the car they all came up with the same answer - dodgy supermarket fuel!
All the mechcanics were able to hook up the ECU and gave the thumbs up.
Since then all is fine (touch wood) - just bad luck I guess!
