I know what you mean, those machines are expensive!!!

In Bradford today, some tw*t went left to go down the M606 in the middle lane of the roundabout when it was an ahead-only lane. Right annoys me that.

The message from "Tony Bond \(UncleFista\)" contains these words:

I got pulled over by a dibble for that in Wembley High Street many years ago. I eventually pointed out the error of his ways after leading him up the garden path for several minutes first.

They eventually removed the bus lane near here because it was confusing the poor locals. People used to get *ever so* irate when I used it legally. Bristol for once have got a good idea and allow motorbikes to use bus lanes though personally I find it's just a tad safer to stay with the traffic.

The message from "Malc" contains these words:

You can feel their eyes boring into the back of your neck, innit. Even when you know you're in the right you can still feel it.

The message from "Mr Jinx" contains these words:

I tried to tell one of them that she had no brake lights yesterday. I got a two fingered salute.

But some people behave righteously when they shouldn't: As the motorway traffic was dense and slow, three motorcyclists were squeezing through in between cars in the middle and the outer lane. A BMW 7 series in the middle lane indicated that that he wanted to pull over to outer lane just when the third bike was parallel to him (still between the lanes). The motorcyclist became irate and made threatening hand gestures...

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold. I remember "Chris" saying something like:

And crap too.

My favourite was in Daventry, on a well used 30mph rat run. I passed 3 coppers with a hand held radar gun pointing in the opposite direction to which I was travelling. Saw a little Ford car barrelling towards me, flashed lights and gave the thumbs down signal, she promptly gave me a two fingered salute and carried on. I just had to go round the block and see... Sure enough, she was stopped in the lay-by talking to two of them, while the

3rd was checking her tyres. I did toot and wave.... Bless her

That story helped make my day! Just wish I had been therwe to witness it.

I think someone was once nicked for signalling a speed trap. I has something to do with interfering with police work.

The message from "R" contains these words:

I love it when that happens. There's a rather dangerous bend on the way into Wellington beside the cricket club. Well, it's safe at 30mph, but the speed the kid who overtook me the other day was loony. Luckily (for me, I needed a laugh) there was a copper just round the bend with a trap. Teehee!

The message from Johannes contains these words:

The AA (or was it the RAC) used to do it. Patrolmen used to reverse their badges or something 'cos that wasn't considered a direct signal.

Members were saluted as they passed.

If you were not saluted, you could expect a speed trap down the road...
