E34: That's a pass then :^)

New subframe bushes fitted to the E34 yesterday night (working in the road in the *pissing* rain I might add!) and a pass this morning on the full retest. Wasn't too bad a job in the end. About an hour and a half per side once I'd made the correct shape puller. Don't know where the BMW's "4-6hours" per side for this job comes from though. now that's sorted, I've now got to get the trike ready for the MOT, service the wife's astra and change a CV boot then MOT that, and hopefully that will be it for a few months! It's like painting the Severn Bridge having several bikes, cars and a trike all on the road at the same time!.

I did look up my receipt from a specialist and they charged me 3 hours labour for both. Although they did change the rear box at the same time - if that makes a difference.

I reckon if I'd have had a 4-post lift I could have shaved at least another hour off the total too! One day I *really* must dig a pit.
