Ecotec air leak

My 2.0 16v Omega sounds like the inlet manifold is leaking, sucking sound from around inlet manifold area, would this show as a fault on the management system?

FYI

It does not show a fault. The bottom injector seal on one injector was completly missing, the noise was the only telltale.
