Indeed. One of the (potentially) nice things about the 1-2-3 is that they have 16 advance curves built in, and you can swap around until you find one which works really well for your engine. It's just a shame they don't go the whole way and make it wholly user mappable ... via bluetooth?

Jaycar do a fully programmable ignition kit for not a lot. Can be used with pretty well any trigger.

They're marketed under the Pertronix brand in the US. The exchange rate might not help now, but last year they could be bought online for about half Aldon's price from a site called Retro Rockets. No duty to pay on mine as they were despatched from their UK warehouse. Which was nice.
I bought mine from Burton as they were cheaper than Aldon which I found a bit ironic.
