Escort Immobiliser

My Immobiliser has an intermittent fault and doesnt always let me start my car. This means that I am unable to use t as I don't know if it will start again. This problem was repaired two and a half years ago. Does anyone know how I can completely shut off or bypass it as the last time it was done it cost £270.00 and I cannot afford to get it done. Thanks TTT

These immobilisers are easy to bypass; I've done several of them. It is a bit beyond explaining to someone without basic electrical skills however.

Do you have a local auto electrician you could ask? It would only take 10 minutes or so to do.

Chris

Easiest way will be to swap the injector pump for a non PATS one, but thats still not cheap.

Tim.

Or just remove the RIM of the back of the pump, and put a 12v feed direct onto the stop solenoid ;-)
