Thanks, no thanks. I saw a Mk3 Zody yesterday. And remembered just how vile they are.

Never driven one. Looks like an ugly bastard of a thing to me. Austin Allegro anyone?
Well, ignoring the fact that I don't want a Ford Zephyr(!), it's often the case that people just want it gone and don't have the time to have people come round and have a good look, especially if it involves messing about pushing it in and out of the garage to have a proper look. Good to hear your mate isn't like that - it'll work in his favour anyway, as he's more likely to get more money for it.
The message from Kalico contains these words:
If it's an estate, yes please. Loved 'em. Can't stand the saloons though.
Hi there
Thanks for all the interest in the car and to those who bid for it and e-mailed me directly.
I'm afraid the car and all the bits have been sold to someone else prior to auction finish. However, the guy that bought it asked me to contact everyone who showed interest, in case they want any specific parts from it.
If you want to contact him directly, he is called Bob and his number is 07764 943 002. There was a lot more bits in the lockup than we thought, some being for other cars, so it could well be worth giving him a call.
Best regards and thanks for your interest. Rob
