I changed the old paper air filter for a K&N on the TR7 v8, but now until it gets really warm (has been driven for about twenty minutes) there are flatspots all over the place, and while it stays started, the idle speed is very low (300-400 rpm).
The carb is a Holley of some sort - four barrel - and I'm assuming that the K&N is now letting far more air in than before and the mix needs richening. Anyone got any tips on smoothing things out? When it's warm it goes like a rocket, all the way up to the redline :->
Cheers, James
