T55 is a Torx socket

You need a Torx Socket T45

If you have a set of these try the T45 in the front seat bolts and if it fits in there its will fit the sump plug, as there the same size

d one needs a special tool to remove sump plug to drain oil. Went and bough= t a special tool (star looking, alan key like ) with marking T55. It was to= o big to fit, next size down is T50. Found that is too sloppy. (some call t= his tool multi splined tool) I am unable to remove the drain plug. Can some= one suggest me the right tool to remove? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I found out the it had head sheared by previous owner (or their mechanic). = I had to take the car to a garage to get the plug removed completely and re= placed it with normal hex headed plug. From now on oil change should be a b= reeze. BTW, the car was 2009 year and I am here down under in NZ. Cheers.
