Off a tractor, an aeroplane....give us a clue.
Probably just stook on. Grab the disk at opposite sides and wiggle, pull, curse and push. If still does not budge whack it with a hammer from behind, again alternating betwen top / bottom etc.
How hard have you hit it?
(what car?)

1999 vw polo.
I think the f***er is welded on. Spent about an hour earlier trying to get it off. I took a break as I was feeling the urge to angle grinding the car.
1999 vw polo. Not whacked the crap out of it. I've hit it at 12 o'clock position 3, 6 , 9 as a guide avised to. Didn't work so I hit it all the way around. Didn't budge. Tried some wd40. Thinking of spraying a lot more and leaving it for tonight and see if it helps tommorow ?
I managed to get the other discs off ok, just this one being a bitch.
I once had a wheel which was being stubborn about coming off. The 1lb hammer I was using wouldn't shift it no matter how I belted it. The 4lb one I went and bought took it off with a couple of not insanely-hard blows.
I've no idea how strong you are - but I'd be considering a bigger hammer. Presumably you're replacing the discs, so no problems if you do break them?

That's the quickest way. Use an angle grinder to cut the disc off.
Let me guess...claw hammer?
Hmmm ... I have a few other hammers and a sledge might go swing at it like a mad man.
Will try a smaller hammer and see how that goes.
Stubby mallet type.
On my mondeo I hit 'em so hard to try get 'em off, the discs broke off the mounting "bell", I had to angry-grind the rest off...
Bigger hammer needed I think...
I've used a sledge before now.
polo.

Believe it or not, but a hacksaw is better in this situation than an angle ginder...
Cut down through the disc for about an inch, then hammer a wedge / chisel / old screwdriver! into the cut & the disc will fall off.
Will try that if theres a next time.
Good news is I have gotten it off this morning, took about 20 mins. Left it over night with wd40 and used a slightly bigger mallet and well brut forced it a bit and it came off. Thank god, what a feeling ... getting the fecking thing off. Took to sledge to it just for fun.
Thanks for the help people.
