First question Yes the engine is a PD engine and requires a specific grade of oil Second question No you can use any make that has the right specification I personally use Millers XFE-PD which costs me about £22.00 for 5 litres (not to be confused with Millers XFE [not the right spec])

It is available from a growing number of oil brands as someone has posted. I was under the impression that the correct specification was 506.01 or similar though.

Halfords sell it, so it's not that special ;-) Expensive though - 1 litre is about £13.
