I need help with my Weber 32 ADF carburetor (I am fitting it in my '87 BMW 316 - replacing original Pierburg 1B2).
I have Haynes manual for it (thanks Noel), but this bit is not described in it.

What is your opinion, did I connect it correctly?
Yes. It's similar to the one on my 38DGAS.

I can confirm that it is some sort of power enrichment circuit, I tested it by applying vacuum, and when I disconnected the hose small amount of fuel was released.
the vacuum hose should not have any fuel in it, if it does then there is a fault, either a leaking diaphragm or it is misfitted.

As soon as I posted I realized that I have not finised my sentence properly :-)
It should be: "... and when I disconnected the hose (from the vacuum pump to the power enrichment valve), small amount of fuel was released to the primary carburetor barrel."
