There are plenty of mugs about who will turn up and one of them will eventually buy it. There are a lot of people who don't have the guts to say "You're talking out of your arse and this car is a shed", particularly in the first time car buyer end of things.
How many times have you seen people on this group say, when discussing a car with problems, "get rid of it"? That usually means sell it. Without full disclosure. Pass the problem onto someone else.
