"Are you sitting sir, i think you'd better sit upon the counter...."

And that was what the bloke at partco said!

yep ive just been for some glow plugs for my Corsa 1.7D 1998

£26odd EACH

apparently the are the dear ceramic ones!!!

Any ideas on where i can procure some cheeper jobbies?

As you have the Isuzu diesel engine in your Corsa, AFAIK there is no cheaper alternative. The only replacement types I have seen are the genuine Vauxhall ones, and possibly NGK do them as well.

These where ngk also quoted £105 from general traffic!

soo anyone want to buy a corsa!

Needs new glow plugs!

Is there such things as Isuzu dealerships these days? Might be worth a bash. And Vauxhall themselves. I went aftermarket looking for a fuel pump relay for the Bosch Jetronic system: Cheaper from Vx than Bosch....

Hmm, bet you weren't as shocked as I was when I found out it'd be over £1000 for a new bonnet for my Subaru Legacy....

Rich.

I nearly bought a Corvette once, til I discovered the bonnet is nearly £5000 :-(

WHAT?!?!?! thats the same engine basically thats in my Fiat punto 1.7td (isuzu unit) and i got some glowplugs from halfrauds 3 years ago for about £45 for a full set. Yeah i know they`re halfrauds jobbies - but they are still going strong 3 years later.

**prepares for them to fail tomorrow morning now i have said that**

nick c
