Lovely joy

After the frosts of last week, and mothers over-handbrake-applicatory-exuberence, and the car being parked for some 4 days. Some selected words on my part, the S70 appeared to require new handbrake shoes 'to the rear of the vehicle' as one wheel was locked solid, and she had just attempted to drag said car across the yard for a sortie to the shops.

Some 15minutes later with a large hammer as companion on said wheel it was declared that new discs, rear pads, caliper pins and retainers were also needed as the whole sha-bang was de-laminting into as many parts as was possible.

Looked like everything was original so not bad for 10years old and 99.5k.

£106 lighter of pocket and 50minutes today equals shiney-shiney and much merryment with the new-founded brakey-ness and a very well deserved can of stella. [1]

It was still a marvel at how easily it all came apart despite the age and never been touched.

I thank you.
