"H" Reg, 15 yr old Micra. Passed MOT first go! All I did before hand was fit new shoes and pads. What a top little car. Not bad considering I bought it 18 months ago for £50 with 39,000 miles on it.

Wont beat a mate who bought a yugo van in 1992 I think for £75 with mot and tax and still has it. he bought it as his van got nicked an dhe had a plastering job in london which needed finishing. Was only going to keep it a week.
Think sits done 160,000 at the moment. No acceleration. Drafty as hell and hot air is colder then cold. A real mess , but every year it poodles through the test.
I think it needs to do a few more miles to pay back his £75. It is a Yugo after all. ;-)
Huh! Nothing. Austin A40 (1961), stood for four months, taken for MOT on a whim (no work done) despite the dead battery, passed with just three advisories.
Two weeks later, 1967 Riley Elf, checked round but no work done, passed without even an advisory.
