Gawd, it was shit. The estate shells were built by Holden in Oz - and it showed in the rustproofing.
You must have been unlucky then. I bought one for my mum for 700 quid and it lasted her for about 6 years. When I finally filled it with scrap and weighed it in, the chap on the weighbridge assumed I was only dropping off the contents and not the whole car as it still looked fairly tidy.

Why sell it? You could do a roaring trade on Saturdays as a wedding car. ;-)
I've got an old 306 Diesel you can have for £350.. MOT July, tax until end of Feb. Loads of history. Bit scruffy, 164K. Has issues like a non working window but it's reliable and cheap as chips to run
