New Clutch?

Feb 04, 2006 2 Replies

We have a Ford Ka, the clutch has started to slip under acceleration, I presume it will need a new friction disk fitted, also will have a new pressure plate and release bearing fitted at the same time, as reading the Haynes manual it looks best to have them all done together.

What I am wondering is how much should I expect to be charged at a local (West Mids)garage to have this work done including parts, also how long should it take them to do it?

Thanks in advance

Check the specialist outfits who do nothing but clutches. I paid £220 for replacement on a two litre diesel. Small cars from £120. DaveK.

Thanks for that Dave, gives me an idea when getting quotes
