When driving our Ford Escort over speed bumps, it makes a creaking noise from the front, drivers side suspension , any ideas?

Are the turret tops in good condition?
Curious to know this one myself; just bought a '93 Escort with very "creaky" front suspension. Can't be anything sinister as it passed a MoT 2 weks ago. Top Mount bearings, you say? Will have a nose later on today...

Nope this is odd thing, bounce car up and down and no noise, only does it over speed bumps.
