Nuts!

I have a Rover 45 and want advice on removing wheel nuts. There is one locking nut on each wheel that has its own tool -take cap off, fit adapter and remove with 19 mm socket-dead easy. Other 3 nuts seem to have a loose stainless outer shell . The wheel brace has enlarged itself due to some tyre fitter overdoing it. I tried a 20mm socket- Too big

19mm socket -To small. . If I have a puncture ............Help.

You need a single hex socket, 19mm is the usual size. Some wheel nuts have removable chrome caps, some nuts are chromed and rust underneath and so apparently "grow"

Errr, they're likely to be little covers over the wheel nuts. They should prise off with a screwdriver or similar.
