I was wondeirn if anyone has used one of these

I was thinking it might be a quicker way of not messing about with the sump plug.



Any thoughts ?


Yes. I know the chances are very low, but it would be more susceptible to damage than an almost flush fitting sump plug. I certainly wouldn't fit one, as IMO the increased risk is not worth the convenience. Mike.

Looks like a solution in search of a problem.

With the exception of those recessed square-drive sump plugs, there's nothing wrong with the standard design.

It's not like you have to change the oil every day. And getting the filter off is still going to be messy in many cases.

Only useful to Americans (from where it originates), because they are conditioned to change their oil at ridiculously short intervals.
