Peugeot 106 Driveshaft Replacement

Mar 09, 2005 2 Replies

I have offered to help someone replace a nearside driveshaft on a Pug 106, having not done one on a pug before , are there any tricks for doing this ? Does anyone have the torque settings for hub nuts etc as I don`t have a Haynes book for this.

front hub 245 nm other bits just sensible

================ Drain the transmission oil before you start or use a big tray under the inner end of the driveshaft to collect the oil. Be prepared for a *slow* refill. It takes 2 litres of Gear oil BV75W80 or similar.
