Doing some routine maintenance today and I accidently broke the constina part of the plastic pipe that fits between the air box and the throttle body which is now causing a vac leaking and causing my revs to sit at 1200 rpm and bounce a little.

Sooo upon calling vw this plastic pipe costs a whoooping £38.96!

Is there another way around this like a ahem bodge ? that will last or some kind of bandage made for this purpose ?

Or shall I just stick a new pipe on it ?

Thanks

I'll swap my bill for £70 for a plastic petrol pipe for your £38.96 one!

It's an 11 year old car. Duct tape rules...

Just make certain it can't get sucked in!

Duct tape/superglue/rubber bands/silicone/all four.
