Problem with a olds delta 88.. can't figure out what it is...

I have been pondering for days on what my problem could be with my car. I have replaced/done alot of things and the problem is still there. First let me explain what my problem is. When i press the gas pedal the car gurgles.. example: ya press it, it sounds like it will stall, until ya goose it, then it goes.. this happens everytime i stop and go. and even in reverse it happens. I unhooked the map sensor and it run somewhat fine.. from what a setted value in the ecu is setted to.. but it doesn't run totally fine. I replaced the map sensor.. now when hook that back up when the engine is running it turns right off.. i guess meaning the map sensor works and something is faulty somewhere else.. These are the things i have done to the car so far.. Replaced all spark plugs, did a volt test on those.. 100% ok there. Replaced the map sensor.. i guess it is good. don't really know how to test it.. Replaced air filter.. Cleaned throttle sensor so it moves freely. since it was covered with carbon. Put 3 bottles of fuel injection/intake valve cleaner (valvoline) in my gas tank and ran that for a week. When the map sensor plug is off.. there is very little stalling when pushing the gas pedal..however when driving it sounds like it is downshifting/something pulling.. which i am assuming it would be not the correct air/fuel ratio. just the set value.. If you need to know more i can tell ya.. i am not good at explaining this problem, as i am no mechanic.. but if you could give me some hints or tell me what the problem is, i would very much appreciate it. Oh another thing, when starting the car, it won't start up.. it turns over but no start. it'll start after spraying starting fluid in the air filter intake. Weird car, weird person.. things like this always happens to me. ;| Thanks, Mike

mumbled:

What the hell is an Olds Delta?

Is it one of those gross American things? Can't imagine why people import them, we don't have the roads for 'em and they're just....ugly.
