Since doing my rear bushes I've got a rep as Rover rear bush expert.
Mate with 414's asked me what heppens if his completely collapse. (the were an advisory on his MOT 6 months ago so presumably are pretty bad.)
So what happens if they finally fall right apart? Trip to the morgue or dodgy handling 'till the next MOT or somewhere imbetween?

I suspect if he'd known the best information source I had was to ask f*****ts like you, he wouldn't have.
The wheel ceases to be square to the car so if you're really unlucky it can oversteer quite dramatically at speeds you wouldn't expect it to.

Out of 48 replies so far there have been 3 good ones. Crap as a percentage but the question got answered some time ago.
Most of the 'crap' ones have been trying to teach *you* what *you* should have known already, so next time you get asked you can explain it yourself.
None so daft as them what won't learn...
*If* you read this group much, you'll know that people rarely get 'just' the answer to their question.(Especially if it's a 'was this my fault' one where they think the answer is no...)

Learn that a dirty VIN plate is as serious as any other MOT issues???? Yep, failed to learn it.
I'm not complaining! I love winding up the pond life and the most useful answer came fairly early on so the chap who needs to know found out early. I'm 100 per cent satisfied with the response!
