I'm trying to separate the gearbox from the engine (in car).
I think I've removed all the bolts but the engine doesn't want to separate from the gearbox. Does from the front but not from the back.
I've removed the bolts from front and rear mounts and all the bolts around the gearbox.
Anything I've missed? I haven't removed the started motor.
Give us a clue someone out there.
Need to get the starter and all the gubbins off it to seperate it easily.

You haven't left the flywheel cover plate on have you?
Are you doing this in the car, or with the gearbox and engine removed? I usually take both out of the car as one unit, then separate them on the floor (engine still on the crane). Much easier than struggling with limited space with them still in the car.
