Renault Clio 1.2 RN Remote Central Locking Fault

Please can somebody help me. After recently giving a renault clio 'S' reg a service and M.O.T for a friend I decided to have a look at the remote central locking fault (completly inoperative). I found that the aerial had been leaking water onto the back of the 'magic eye' remote sensor mounted near to the interior light. The circuit board on the sensor was heavily corroded so i got a new one and replaced it. The remote central locking still does'nt work, the batterys in the key fob seem o.k. Does the new sensor need programing? Does the old key fob need programing? if it does could somebody please let me know how.

Thanks.

REPLY 4 GUY, fortunately it was straightforward. one of the small allen-key bolts that hold the glass in place from underneath (at the front fortunately) had worked loose and was sitting in the gutter. once screwed tightly back in place, a watertight seal was once again possible.
