Replace brake bulb rear in MkV Golf

Hmm. Replacing the bulbs is in the Saab book, was in the Ka, the Accord and Mondeo too...

£16? Or £1.60?

Maybe in times of doubt best to put £16 (sixteen) behind it! :)

16 quid isn't clear?

The '£' sign isn't a universally accepted ASCI (top set?) character and may not come out properly. GPB is the accepted way.

It is, I was just afraid that was the case...

DervMan ( snipped-for-privacy@gmail.com) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying :

It was a BMW dealer. I'm just surprised it wasn't £160 (GBP One Hundred and Sixty)

IIRC it was the labour charge. Fair enough if someone just wanted a bulb changed because they were too lazy to do it themselves. But not when it should have been done at the service which states it includes a check on all lights etc as part of the high cost for what is basically just an oil and filter change.

Must be interesting on Golf IV then as official bulb-change procedure it to remove the front bumper. It can be done without doing it, but it's tricky, apparently.

Not if you got tiny hands like me lol
