Interesting,

Would it be the same Rover as this one -

1991 Rover 220 GTi Twin Cam 16v 2.0 (820 engine - 140 bhp)

Bodywork - very good, few genuine scratches and small rust points Cylinder head reconditioned last week, new valvces, guides, seats etc .. Clutch - worn Rear n/s seal needs welding o/s drive shaft is a bit noisy Electric sunroof not working Got old seats in it No speakers or CD player Got Rover 216 GSI seats and wheels Speaker panel in door and dash panel where radio goes missing Alarm Parcel shelf got holes for 6x9s Good exhaust

If anyone wants to make an offer .... Or if anyone wants any bits from it ... so long as I can get it to scrappy ...

Yes it would.

Is that a problem?

Perhaps he asks because the list for the car doesn't mention the little end gone? Or perhaps he doesn't manage to relate the two posts, even though they are the same sender and next to each other. Or perhaps he has seen the same thing in several newsgroups.

Honest mistake - I wouldn't be so stupid as to post them next to each other - would I?

It's obvious the car is for spares anyway

Fair point

2 newsgroups - both applicable

uk.rec.cars-maintenance as it's handy for people maintaining their car wanting bits uk.adverts.cars as it is an advert for a car in the UK

It's a genuine sale, and I can give complete history (with reciepts) to anyone interested. obviously they can spend as long as they want looking at the car - so I can't see an issue

If anyone is interested gimem a shout

Think of it like this...

One is an advert for a wrecked car with a good cylinder head. The next advert is for a good cylinder head (with a wrecked car attached to it).

I don't really see a problem. Many people buy a whole car for one bit (like a head).

Pete.
