Not buying it, just curious. Doesn't look too bad?

Driver?s door doesn?t shut, bonnet doesn?t shut, rusting along front edge of bonnet and on bottom of doors. Looks like a nasty respray.

Only for an enthusiast I guess.

Belongs to a very active SD1 Club member who likes to have a project on the go, as well as owning a running one.

Doors and bonnet all shut - strange to take the pics with them open. Not a nasty re-spray, but was in the process of a good compound and polish. Of course it's got some bodywork/paint that needs attention - it's almost 40 years old, and pretty well original. Which is getting very rare.

The main problem would appear to be the auto box. Forget anything needed adjusting - it will have to be overhauled or replaced, IMHO. Not actually a difficult DIY job if you have a repair manual. Much easier to fix an auto box than a manual.

With the box fixed, I'd expect it to be worth about £5000+

But yes, for an enthusiast. Unless you have deep pockets to pay someone to do the work. Same as any old car.

There appears to be a toilet roll in the passenger footwell. Is the car that scary to drive?

;-) Or even a kitchen roll. That pic does show how good the interior is, though.

To mop up the copious amounts of condensation?
