Are these arnold clark type 41pt services worthwhile or should i go to an indie garage and get a full service? been 10k since last service car has done 35k (Almera) Is it mainly just making sure the oil is changed?
41 point service with 38 of them being "Yep, it has wheels".

"YeeHaaaaaaaaaa!" - Avoid. I can't believe people *still* buy cars from these places...must be the finance on offer or something. Christ knows what else entices customers there.
In short: use somewhere else, anywhere else! Don't stoop as low as kwik-fit, of course.
Servicing on the Almera is every 9k and the 36k one is a major service so I wouldn't skimp on it. I would ask the garage to follow Nissan's specification in the service book, wherever you take the car.
