The back end of my 1995 Rover 214SEi (old shape) seemed to be all over the place, eg I was on the motorway and it felt like there was a side wind, but there wasn't.
Checked under the car and it seems the rear OS bush on the bottom of the shock absorber has perished.
The garage I use can't get me in til Fri, so in the meantime:
1) What precautions should I take when driving the car. (I would expect not drive too fast or thow it round corners! Anything else?)
2) Do they replace just the bush or the whole shock?
3) Do they have to be done in pairs ot if not, would you recommend the pair are done anyway?
4) I have heard about a particular type of bush, is it polyeurethane? Is this recommended over the standard type?
