My mrs 1999 fiesta has a squeak coming from the nearside front wheel, I presume it's the bearing.
Are these easy to replace? Anything I should know? Any specialist tools required?
Thanks Mark

bearings rarely (never?)squeak, it is probably a brake squeak
It's always there, not just when the brakes are applied.
does it vary when the brake is applied?
Krycek has brought this to us :
Does the noise stop/change when you apply the brakes?
Its the brakes.
I had one once that made a noise like a guinea pig. I think what had probably happened is one of the rubber seals had got itself out of line.
But yes, chances are this is not a wheel bearing.
Hmm, yes, I'm sure it does. I ruled out brakes as it squeaks constantly, guess I'm wrong then!
