I put a tow bar on my Puggy 206SW and it failed the MOT on the fog lamp being blocked.
I got round this by fitting an after market lamp but I can't see that if it was a Puggy tow bar I'd have this problem. Then again any tow bar must block the fog light.
What is Peugeots answer to this?

I had a fixed Witter tow bar on my 206 SW which (to my mind) blocked the clear view of the foglight. However, two separate MOT stations (main Pug dealer for the first - then local Land Rover indy) both passed it without comment.
I sold the car to a work colleague who has since had two MOTs carried out by another MOT centre miles away who also passed it without comment.
The manual says:
"Note: At least 50% of light sources in a lamp must illuminate and at least 50% of the lamp must be visible from the rear."
I'm guessing it depends on how much of the lamp is obscured by the towing mechanism.
