Tyre Fitters

Utterly clueless f*****ts. Nissan have used exactly the same jacking pionts for the last 30 years. There is a flange on the sill and the inside of the sill has a pressed plate welded to it that you jack on. It needs a jack with a U shaped top, the flange sits in U and the inner leg of the U hits the jacking plate on the inside of the sill. There is a small cutout in the sill flange to show where the jack goes. Take a Nissan to any non franchised workshop and they stick the jack under it band the flange flat to the sill.

Toyota Celica was exaclty the same - I could interchange jacks between this and any Nissan.

This cracks the under seal and stone chip resulting in rusty sills. do they ever offer to touch up the damage - no.

Will they ever take time to learn how to jack each make of car - no.
