Hi all
I've been having problems with my R reg Corsa Merit 1.2. For a few months the engine management light has been going on and off, but I ignored it until now cos the manual says if it goes off again then there's no problem (!)
Just in the last couple of weeks the car feels like it's 'pulling' and the engine note sounds wrong. Thought it could be running on 3 cylinders so checked HT leads & everything seems ok. The petrol consumption's just about doubled now as well - could this be something to do with the ECU's 'safe' state when it goes wrong (ie mix too rich & timing off)??
I'd appreciate any thoughts you have!
