Hi wonder if anyone can help, the problem is mainly made worse by being intermittent, the ecu light is flashing with ignition lights pre-start. Its not happenning all the time and its even been plugged into the diagnosis computer which showed no faults over the whole car. It showed immobiliser signal present = yes but that was at a time when it was working. Half an hour later it was back to the ecu flashing so the car was immobilised. The confusing thing is the diag showing no faults throughout the vehicle presumably it would show no immobiliser signal when it is playing up. Will this basically just mean the ignition ring is shorting or not always on a circuit therefore not cancelling the immobiliser in the presence of the key or something else. There are 2 keys which seem to work fine and each one has independently been used with it working and not working the realys have been changed and the immobiliser backup battery has been changed. Is there anything else obvious to do ?
