Which if you've crimped it properly & heatshrinked it isn't a problem. Nearly every connection on your cars crimped.

Yes that would be fine. Do most DIY-ers posses a set of professional rachet crimpers nowadays?

Probably more than possess a decent soldering iron, ratchet crimpers have got very cheap.
The saga continues !!!!! Eurocats sent the wrong one :-( I've mailed them a picture of the connector I have on the V70 as the one they sent had a four in line connector where mine has a two and two in a sqare pattern!!! bugger.
I'll give em a call tomorrow to chase the mail up - hopefully they can supply one.
Nope - they cant supply either !!!! Im gonna try a universal one - worth a try !!
