Until you stop driving, heating your house, owning anything manufacturered in a factory, eating prepackaged food, owning clothes made of man-made fibers, using air travel, using trains, using electricity unless you are generating it yourself using hydro, wind or solar power, then you can shut up right now on that particular argument.

True. Let me know when they've diagnosed what damage was done mentally.

They're children. They aren't going to made the best decisions regarding their health and nutrition.
Children are not fed correctly and everyone wants a scapegoat. Can't control your brat? ADHD. ADHD? Oh, it's additives. Why are there additives in the food? It's what they wanted.

Raise air duty first. Personal liberty and freedom of movement within a functional lifestyle space is far more important than long-distance leisure travel.

No way. My P6 dented way too easily. My Beetle is pretty dent-proof. I've found dents in the Scorpio and it's built like a tank.

How about trying to be people friendly, instead of young, old, tall, short, or any other factor you wish to focus on helping?
Not wanting to have others gamete products shoved in my face is not being child unfriendly, unless I do it in places normally accepted and designed for children.
Not as bad as some, but hardly at the bottom of the list:

Is this not short sighted? It might work for a generation or so, but then, horror of horrors, all these extra young people will be old people, and we'll need to have even more young people, who'll grow old, and so it snowballs.
I can't see why there's as much concern as there is, other than the shrinking can be used to create vote winning soundbites. Yes, there's the aspect of who will foot the bill for the elderly, but I wonder where all the money they paid in NI over the years went. Actually, thinking about it, maybe instead the NHS had a hand in the problem.

Up our way the spaces are called mother and baby spaces. This may make it clearer to the more pedantic amongst us, but on the other hand, I have no idea where dads with a baby on board have to park...

yebbut, think about it, parking illegally across a drive darn saff is a civil offence (I think). Parking illegally up in barmland is a criminal offence. Police have to attend ;-) Problem solved much quicker.
