Windows XP Sysprep

Once you have sysprep'd a Windows XP image and copied it to the rest of the PC's in the room can a Unique Databse File be used for the computer names?

Load can specify a list of computers that will be used by setup midway thru the sysprep configuration. It saves them in the unattend.txt file.

Pretty much yes. The answer file is important though.

If you need to make sure the SID has really been changed then you should put a mark with a HEX bolt on that part of the registry.

The coolant setting need to be unique for each machine and not just cloned from the original or topped up by a cowboy process.

In this group I'd open the PC and check the motherboard colour too to make sure it isn't gaining a reddish tint (Commonly known as pinking).

If you manage to service all of the cars^h^h^h^hPC's and still have errors then you may find that you need to update the drivers. Some clearing of errors after a self service will require the PC to be plugged into a system at the main dealer^h^h^h^h^h^h^h^hmanufacturer to reset the service bios.
