Help - I am replacing the antenna in my 94 miata. I cannot get the antenna to go the whole way down. Is there a trick to getting the gear to bite the cable? any help or suggestions would be appreciated - thank you greg
There are several common problems with those automatic anteneas, check out miata.net garage section I'm sure you will find all the info you need.

92BB&T (with an automatic antenae stuck in the up position!)Take your antenna out of the car,and dis-assemble it.It's tricky tp "thread" the plastic lead into the motor otherwise. It's not hard,take it from me,I'm all thumbs.
