Well, IIRC, my older brother "fixed" the unibody after hitting "something". Of course I'm trying to remember after more than 35 years have gone by since we had that car. I do recall the 1960 used to blow head gaskets all the time. I also remember (quite clearly, although probably not as clearly as my younger brother) hitting the pillar between the garage doors when my older brother was teaching me to drive. And not just a little tap either but a real good hit. Had to help beat the dent out of the bumper too.
And why does my younger brother remember more clearly? Well, right off the garage was a bathroom. He was in the bathroom.
I also remember it used to cost around $3 to fill the tank - 8 gallons of gas and 1 quart of oil. And *that* fact will tell you how long ago I drove those cars!
