Smoke coming from armrest, window switch bruned out it think!!

hi, Red 93. Was warming up the car, saw some smoke coming from armrest. I opened the driver side window to let the smoke out. The smoke stopped, but the window wouldnt go back up! Drove home with it open like that (its cold here in CT!) I wasnt able to pull the window back up. Its strange but the switch still works in that it will open the window more, but it wont close up. Am I right in thinking that its probably the switch that burned out and does anyone know where i can get one in a hurry? Thanks.
