Just purchased an E280 (auto) It has the "special" model radio/cassette but no CD player. I believe that the car is all wired to install one. Anyone know of an installer other than Mercedes(for lower cost). in the West Country of UK? Preferably Devon area. Or is it a DIY possibility. ?

get the changer and install yourself. It is very easy, there are all pre-wired for it. Try eBay to save some bucks on a compatible changer.
